I picked Alice because I liked her character's personality. the only reason you like Bella is because Edward does.

Ahh... Too much alike!! Haha.

But she is quirky. Thats just.. her word. Haha.
I love her much more than Bella. She actually does something as opposed to Bella who is just infatuated by Edward. Understandibly, of course.
But what I'm saying is that.. I find Alice to have more personality than Bella. Kind of. And she is much more interesting as well, with her 'hidden' past. Well, her past that was once hidden.
And how she was all connected to the Hunter and such..
Ah, so good!

I like Alice better

But...I like Bella too. I think she's probably the only main character in a book that I have ever really liked and like..connected with.

And when I say main character, I mean the one telling the story. Not just an important character.

Yeah, I really connected to Bella.

But Alice is a more free, happy person. Whenever I think of her, I feel more... pressure-alleviated? If that makes sense. She just seems like a really good friend, and a very understanding person. Alice rocks!

And, i just remembered. I love how graceful she is. I know all vampires are, but she is always desribed as being extra graceful, that ballerina's would envy. I envy her gracefullness. It makes me think that no matter where she is, what she looks like or what she is doing, she will always look more beautiful and more graceful than anybody else.
Gorgeous.

But her gracefulness sounds so... cool. *envies her*

I'm in the same boat as you. Not clumsy and not graceful like Alice either.

I wouldn't say "poor thing" to Kara-- I seem to remember that Bella's clumsiness is seen as "endearing." Maybe even to Edward. So I'll say "Lucky thing!" to you. Edward will always notice you.

*is for a brief moment glad she didn't go to boarding school.*

Yeah.. I'm pretty clumsy. I think I used to be as clumsy as Bella, but I've gotten a lot better lately.

Mind you, i still manage to trip over nothing. The strangest thing. I trip and fall over air. seriously.. I looked back and there was nothing there and it wasn't my own feet. Anyway!!

(it was in the middle of a shopping centre as well -- randoms were laughing at me. mind you, none of my friends helped me.)

Ah, i re-read a part of Twilight today. Alice is so cool! Ah, i just love her!

Sorry, this is kind of pointless, i'm not really adding anything about her.

Oh, have we mentioned how she was so nice to Bella in the car? I loved that part. How she cried all over Alice and slept on her, and Alice didn't mind at all. Love her.

Alice is just amazing because she has this gift, but still allows people to make their own choices and choose their own future. Also, in the Twilight outtakes, I love her even more. She's just SO EXCITED all the time.

She was great in the Shopping With Alice one!!! Even though there was so much going on, she was so supportive... so nice to Bella.

Yeah, she manages/controls her gift really well. She could just say to people that 'this' is going to happen. And then because the person would believe it is definately going to happen, it will happen.
But she doesn't tell people really dangerous things as permanant things. I just love the way she handles herself.

And in the school when Jasper gets all snarky at her, she just sighs and leaves instead of causing a scene like somebody such as Rosalie would. I just love that about her. Nothing is ever about her. And it takes a strong peron to be happy for other people all the time, caring about them all the time.

And the shopping outtake.. LOVE! It was good jsut to have that bit of comic relief, even if it wasn't actually IN the story. That bit helped me so much with understanding her character.

I've just defiled the Twilight shrine...

Does Jasper get snarky at her? I honestly don't remember.

I don't really think so. the only time I saw snarkiness towards her from him was in Midnight Sun.

this is slightly unrelated, but I'm reading New Moon...and then I went to watch the Holiday to cheer myself up, and I said the name Jasper and almost started to cry again. damn it.

SHUTUP SHUTUP SHUTUP SHUTUP

*blocks ears*

*LADIDADIDADIDA I CAN'T HEAR YOU!! LADIDADIDAAAA*

No not really snarky, i just couldn't find the right words. I meant that part in Midnight Sun when Alice was talking about the student, saying how its easier to ignore their smell if you know their name and background. And then Jasper kind of snaps a bit at her. Then she sighs and walks away.

(( Aww, thanks! It was on paint.. Grr paint. Grr... Haha. ))

So, we haven't really talked about Bella at all. The positives or the negatives. Okay, so we touched based on the negatives.. Haha.

I like it when she blushes. But that could just be because Edward likes it when she blushes... *grins*

lol. I like how Bella is just quiet and reserved--not a desperate-for-attention person like Jessica. *shakes head* I always liked this about her.

Oh, and everything about her that made Edward like her... I want all that.

Her reasons were only that Bella is boring and self-centred.

I tried to explain to her how Bella isn't... she swayed slightly, but she still doesn't like Bella.

Edwards heaps OLDER than Bella, and he's so perfect- perfection isn't attactive in the slightest, and Bella is stubborn, not really attractive, clumsy, slow, sensitive, self-centered, narcistic, stuck-up, grudging, stupid, sulky, annoying, willing-to-be-a-slave-for-Edward, obsessed-in-Edward, dumb, gutless, boring, without-an-opinion, acts-like-a-bitch-to-her-mum and much more ...

It's spelt "narcissistic" by the way...

One thing to say: You haven't read Twilight... I have no idea where these opinions are coming from.
