I *love* her books. She has written the Daughters of the Moon series, the Sons of the Dark series, and now the Sisters of Isis series. (I got the second book yesterday and have already finished it -- happy-makingness.) She has also written a couple of stand-alones that I'm determined to find some day. Her writing has improved over the years and I love how real the books feel despite the fantasy elements. I don't even remember how many times I've read her books, they're that addicting. If I'm in a bad mood, these books always cheer me up. Also, they're fawesome merely because her books were the ones that had inspired me to start writing in the first place.

Eh, no one else here probably reads them, but I felt like babbling.

You totally make me want to read her books.

SA = best place to get book recommendations because I can be sure of other people's opinions.

I'm re-reading her books again even though I still have a stack of new books to read. (Bad me.)

Heheh, sorry about that. I just had to pimp her books out since she's my favorite author. (I never thought I'd pick a favorite author, since there are so many good ones, but I am too obsessed now, heh.)

My copy of Goddess of the Night fell apart. Grr. Now I'll have to buy a new one.

I wrote a review for the first Sisters of Isis book and hope it's not too fan-girly. A lot of people like the Daughters of the Moon series better, but I don't know.... Her new series seems more fleshed-out and mature. (Come on, August -- I need to read book 3!)

I love her books! Is Sons of the Dark really good? I never read it because I was hooked on John Marsden when I first noticed that series, and by then I was broke.
But I do want to read them.

It took me a while to read the Sons of the Dark books, but I'm so glad I finally did. They're must-reads for Daughters of the Moon fans because you vaguely learn what is going on in that series after The Becoming, as well as more insight into Nefandus, etc. I also loved Kyle from The Prophecy, so it was nice to see him even more in this series. And there were a few incidents where the SOTD books made me laugh out loud and embarrass myself...heh.

Um, yeah, I'm babbling again. So yes, the SOTD books are good. Very Happy

Oh okay. I don't know about you, but after The Becoming I got confused because I couldn't find the next book and it made me sad, but now I must read SOTD, because I was DYING for a conclusion to that series. Thanks for the info......and if you liked Lynne Ewing, I suggest Cassandra Clare (City of Bones Very Happy) and Melissa Marr (Wicked Lovely) I love those books, and I've been promoting them like crazy, so now ALL of my friends have read them, so you should too!

Okay i gotta go now its nearing the witching hour and i must sleep....au revoir

I'll be getting Wicked Lovely in October. The premise I read intrigued me so much. I already know I'm going to love it. I'm glad I've finally heard a good reccomendation.

The 13th Daughters of the Moon book, The Final Eclipse, comes out in December and will be the last in the series. *waits anxiously for the book to come out*

I read The Final Eclipse last night and...wow. It's one of my favorite books in the DOTM series, but now I'm incredibly sad because this means the series is now officially over. Not only that, but the things that happened to certain characters...yii. This book made me cry -- still does, merely thinking about certain scenes. The last chapter annoyed me at first, but the more I think about it, the more it fits. I'm going to miss this world and its characters so much...sigh.

The book was great, a must-read. It still has humor and actiony bits, but it really tugs on your emotions, so it's probably best to not read it in public. (I STILL tear up thinking about certain scenes, heh.)
